What is the Law of Attraction?


Aug. 26, 2009: Create the Body You Want, Using the Law of Attraction!

This is the title of my 6 week/session workshop.

At the first class I asked what brought my students to the class, only 2 knew about the Law of Atrraction and the other 13 said, "Diet and exercise haven't been able to give me the body I want...I decided to try this."
 

Wow, I was amazed that so many knew nothing about the Law of Attraction (LOA).

 I just assumed everyone has seen The Secret and wanted to know how to apply it to their body.
 
I have been studying about the LOA for the last 4 to 5 years. I was fortunate to see Esther and Jerry Hicks who wrote Ask and It IS Given, at an I Can Do It Seminar in Las Vegas, spring of 2005.   I had been doing a grateful journal everyday and using Positive Affirmations to change my life. After listening to Esther and Jerry, it made so much sense what they were saying.I started applying some of their processes from their book, and created a Beautiful home and my dream car...2 door, hard top convertible Mercedes Benz within the first 2 months of reading their book.   
 

I never thought to apply it to my body until 6 months ago.

I have been a Group Fitness INstructor/Personal Trainer for the past 30 years and have always struggled with a positive Body Image. My weight has been pretty consistent in all those years...but I still never enjoyed how my body looked, until I started using the LOA to change my own negative thoughts. Now that I know how the LOA works I am amazed how easy it is to maintain a healthy Body Weight and Image.
That is why I created my workshop in the first place to help other people discover how their thoughts, feelings and vibrations were keeping them stuck in the muck of never liking their bodies and always feeling ashamed of how they look.

 The LOA states whatever I focus on I will get more of.

 
The words Don't, Not and No are not recognized by the Subconscious and Conscious minds as well as the LOA. If I would say, I don't like my thighs the way they look right now...What the LOA hears... I like my thighs the way they look right now. No reason to change them. Or if I say, it is hard for me to lose weight. The LOA hears...I want it to be hard to lose weight.   I have learned to say what it is I want, not what I don't want.

It is easy for me to maintain my ideal weight and enjoy the process!

That is what I want everyone in my workshop to understand and use this new way of thinking to create their ideal body. So, when I start my next class I will be teaching the same principles...and, I will be changing the name of the workshop to attract more people to it who are not familiar with the concept The Law of Attraction.
